Abstract Expressions

Made as a short series immediately following my thesis work, Abstract Expressions is my approaching various subjects in a de Kooning-esque way that celebrates the materials as much as it does the composition. What may appear to be quickly executed paintings were carefully composed, while also allowing the material to dictate timing.
